Directions Oatmeal Preparation: Servings: 1 � Water (cups): 1; Oats (cups): 1/2; Salt (optional): dash. Servings: 2 � Water (cups): 1-3/4; Oats (cups): 1; Salt (optional): 1/8 tsp. Servings: 6 � Water (cups): 5; Oats (cups): 3; Salt (optional): 1/4 tsp. Make on Stovetop: 1. Bring water to a boil. 2. Stir oats in slowly. 3. Simmer 3-5 minutes over medium heat; stirring occasionally. Note: For creamier oatmeal, combine water, salt and oats; bring to a boil; cook as directed. Microwave: Make in Microwave (one serving): 1. Combine water, salt and oats in a medium sized microwaveable bowl. 2. Microwave on high 2-4 minutes stir before serving. Caution: Bowl may be hot.
