Directions
Cook thoroughly. Cooking Instructions: For food safety: Keep frozen until ready to cook. Do not refreeze. Heat to 165 degrees F before use. Refrigerate leftovers. Stove Top: In a saucepan, place frozen spinach into 1 cup boiling water. Gently stir until water returns to boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until tender. Season to taste and serve. Microwave: Directions were developed for 1100 watt and higher microwave ovens. Cooking in microwave oven below 1100 watts will require additional time to reach proper temperature. For best results, cook from frozen. Place frozen spinach in a covered microwave safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Season to taste and serve. Since cooking appliances vary, these directions are guidelines only. Perishable. Keep frozen.
