Directions
Cooking Instructions: For food and quality, follow these cooking instructions. Cook thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F or higher as measured by a food thermometer in the thickest portion. Since cooking appliances vary; these instructions are guidelines only. Simmer: Remove meat from package. Place meat in pot and cover with water. Add contents of spice packet if desired (this corned beef is already fully seasoned). Cover pot and bring to boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Simmer approximately 50 minutes per pound until the product internal temperature is 165 degrees F or higher as measured by a food thermometer in the thickest portion and until the meat is fork tender. When corned beef is cooked, take out of the pot and let cool 20-30 minutes. Enjoy! Bake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove meat from package and place on rack in pan fat side up. Add approximately 1 inch of water to bottom of pan. Cover with contents of included spice packet if desired (this corned beef is already fully seasoned). Cover pan with lid or foil. Bake for 50 minutes per pound until product internal temperature is 165 degrees F or higher as measured by a food thermometer in the thickest portion and until the meat is fork tender. With 10 minutes left, uncover pan and bake at 375 degrees F. When corned beef is done, remove from oven and let cool for 20-30 minutes. Enjoy! We recommend that any juice in this package be used in cooking of this product. The juices are included in the weight.
