Wear goggles or safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling this product. May be irritating to nose and throat. Avoid breathing dust. Wash hands thoroughly after use. If product gets on clothing, remove and wash before reuse. Do not mix with other chemicals. First Aid: If in Eyes: Hold eye(s) open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. If on Skin: Rise off excess chemical and flush skin with cold water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, get medical attention. If Inhaled: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, have trained person administer oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. If Swallowed: Call poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. In case of medical emergency, call 1-877-800-5553.
Read the entire label and use strictly in accordance with precautionary statements and directions. Use: Raises pH to protect equipment and surface for optimal chlorine effectiveness and improve swimmer comfort by preventing eye irritation. Test & Balance: Test pH weekly and maintain pH between 7.2-7.6. Test total alkalinity before using this product. Broadcast in the deepest area while pool is not in use and pump is running. pH UP Dosages: pH Level/add per 10,000 gallons. pH below 6.5: add 20 oz; pH 6.5-6.7: add 16 oz; pH 6.8-7.1 add 12 oz; pH 7.2-7.6 ideal. Dosage: Never add more than 2.5 lb of this product per 10,000 gallons at one time. If the pH is below 7.2 then add this product to bring up the pH to an acceptable range using the dosage chart above. For Best Results: Allow the pool to circulate for two hours then retest pH. Add more product if needed. Brush any undissolved clumps off surface of pool to avoid surface damage. Re-Entry: Test water and enter when the pH reaches ideal 7.2-7.6 range. Storage and Disposal: Keep this product dry in original tightly closed container when not in use. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not reuse container. Rinse empty container thoroughly before discarding in trash or recycling.
