Stove Top Directions: Cook: Mix 1-3/4 cups water, rice mix and 1 tbsp. butter (optional in 2-quart saucepan until well blended. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover. Simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Enjoy: Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Pair: Great with grilled pork, chicken or fish. Tip and Tricks: Veggify: Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms or 1 cup cut green beans. Quick & Easy: Add Rotisserie chicken and frozen peas and carrots for a quick easy one-pot meal. Homemade: For a holiday rice dish, sprinkle cooked rice with dried cranberries and sliced almonds.
