Directions Preparation Instructions/Stove Top: 1. In a saucepan combine 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water and 2 tsp. butter (optional). 2. Bring to a boil. 3. Reduce heat to low and cover. 4. Without removing cover, allow to simmer for approximately 15 to 20 minutes or until water is absorbed. 5. Fluff with fork before serving. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Preparation Instructions/Microwave (Cook Times May Vary Due to Microwave): 1. In a microwave-safe dish, combine 1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water (add butter and salt, if you desire). 2. Cover and cook on high for 5 minutes or until boiling. 3. Reduce the setting to medium (50% power), without removing cover, and cook for 15 minutes. 4. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
