Directions
Boil: Cooking Red Quinoa
2 cups water
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tsp. butter or olive oil (optional)
1 cup quinoa
Bring water to boil. Add salt and butter or olive oil, if desired. Stir in quinoa. Cover with lid; reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Yields approximately 3-1/4 cups.
