Directions
Falafil Cooking: Add once cup of Ziyad brand Falafil Mix to 3/4 cups cold water. Mix well; let it rest for 1/2 hour. Mixture should be moist, but firm and be able to hold its shape when formed into a ball. Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet. Shape falafil balls into small patties and deep fry in hot vegetable oil until the patties float, are crispy and golden brown in color. Place in pita pocket, add your favorite vegetables and top off with our delicious tahini dressing (see Ziyad brand Tahini label) and you have a healthy meal.
