Step-by-step guide: Step 1: Weigh yourself; weigh you and your pet; subtract your weight to get pet's weight. Step 2: Divide pet weight by 2.5 lbs – example: if pet's weight is 5 lbs: 5 lbs/2.5 lbs = 2 = number of 1/4 teaspoons to give. The table below is provided as a guide: Pet's Weight: 2.5 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 1; Pet's Weight: 5 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 2; Pet's Weight: 7.5 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 3; Pet's Weight: 10 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 4; Pet's Weight: 12.5 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 5; Pet's Weight: 15 lbs Number of 1/4 teaspoons (included) to give: 6. If your cat's weight falls in between the weights provided in the table, round down when calculating how many 1/4 teaspoons to give. For example, 4 lbs/2.5 lbs = 1.6, so give only one 1/4 teaspoon. Step 3: Administer the appropriate amount of 1/4 tsp per 2.5 lbs of body weight to cat, utilizing provided 1/4 tsp. Step 4: Mix dose into food or give directly after pet has eaten. Step 5: Repeat 14 days later. Step 6: Repeat every 30 days to help prevent reinfestation.
