The Puff Story: Back in 1927, when prohibition was dragging along, family man and Chicago entrepreneur, Elisha Shabaz made no small plans when creating his food company. He began with recipe's so incredibly fun that an entire city could momentarily forget its troubles. Thankfully, big thinking led to the invention of The Original Pizza Puff. The plan was to hand-fold each Puff, using ingredients like real flour tortillas, home-style sauces, vegetables, quality meats, cheeses, and spices. All of these ingredients coming together on a deliciousness scale that is worthy of a strong and proud city. Often imitated by larger food companies, but never duplicated, the Puff is still hand-folded, using quality ingredients, by a real family. Here at Iltaco we aspire to continuing the Puff legacy by making great tasting food for real people. So, if you love the Puff as much as we love making them, then please let us know. Go forth, enjoy our invention, and share the goodness through social interaction so that we may bring new smiles to new faces across this great nation. Warmest regards, - The Italco Family.
