Directions Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly. For your protection, follow these safe handling instructions. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove chicken from packaging, keep orange slices on the chicken. Do not rinse. Lay chicken skin side up in a shallow baking sheet. Bake on center rack of the oven. Baste with pan juices after 30 minutes. Turn pan as needed for even browning, and check for doneness often. Bake for 50 to 65 minutes until well browned and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer in the thickest part of the breast and thigh. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. For food safety, cook thoroughly to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F measured by a food thermometer. Perishable.
