Green Lentils.
Warning
Contains: Packed with shared equipment with wheat, tree nuts, soy and sesame. Although beans have been previously sorted and cleaned you must inspect dry beans thoroughly to remove damaged beans and foreign materials.
Directions
Preparing Lentils: Rinse the lentils. You do not need to soak lentils. For every cup of lentils, add 2 cups of water. Do not add salt, because it may cause the lentils to toughen during cooking. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender, then use in your favorite recipe. Make curry with lentils or chickpeas and serve over rice. Add lentils to chili, taco meat, meat loaf, and soup or spaghetti sauce. Prepare minestrone soup with lentils. Keep in a cool dry place.
