Directions Basic Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Bring water and salt to a boil. Add cereal, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10-20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 2 minutes. Servings. 1 Serving. Cereal. 1/4 Cup. Water. 3/4 Cup. Salt. Pinch; Servings. 2 Servings. Cereal. 1/2 Cup. Water. 1-1/2 Cups. Salt 1/8 tsp; Servings. 3 Serving. Cereal. 3/4 Cup. Water. 2-1/4 Cup. Salt. 1/4 tsp; Servings. 4 Servings. Cereal. 1 Cup. Water. 3 Cups. Salt. 1/4 tsp. Microwave: Combine 1/3 cup cereal, 1/2 cup water and a pinch of salt in a microwave safe bowl. Stir well. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until water is fully absorbed, stopping every 30 seconds to stir. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving. Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening.
