Directions Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. Wash rice in cool water until water runs clear. Drain excess water. 2. Place rinsed rice and 1-1/2 cups water in a pot. Bring to a boil. 3. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 minutes, or until all water is absorbed. 4. Remove from heat and let stand, covered 5 minutes.
